Connect your first portal
One click. It creates the keys everything else needs.
Everything in FormMaker starts from a connected HubSpot portal: it's where your forms come from, and connecting is what mints your two keys.
Connect
- Sign up or log in — HubSpot or an email code, your choice. Both work.
- Choose Connect HubSpot.
- Approve the permissions in HubSpot.
You'll land back on your dashboard with the portal connected.
What FormMaker asks for, and why
- Read your forms and their submission stats — this is the whole product. Without it there's nothing to audit.
- Read files uploaded through forms — so an audit can see file-upload fields.
- Read contacts — only to check whether progressive profiling is set up.
FormMaker never writes to your portal without your explicit approval.
What you get
- A connector URL — paste it into your AI client. Setup guides.
- A publishable key (
fm_pub_) — for generated forms. - A private key (
fm_live_) — inside the connector URL. Which is which.
Try it
Ask your AI client:
list my HubSpot forms
Then head to the prompt library.
Connecting more than one portal
Use + Connect another portal on your dashboard. Each portal gets its own keys and its own connector URL — they're never shared. Your plan sets how many you can connect.
Disconnecting
Your dashboard's Danger zone removes FormMaker's access to a portal: live forms stop submitting and your AI client loses it. That drops our credentials — it does not uninstall the app inside HubSpot, so remove it there too if you want it fully gone.
